These are non-profit companies, committed to providing high-quality services to <strong>90 million citizens every day <\/strong> in an efficient, responsible, and sustainable manner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MMspa has been managing the Integrated Water Service of the city of Milan since 2003<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmspa.eu\/en\/integrated-water-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">serving 2 million people every day<\/a><\/strong>, from groundwater abstraction to purification and return to agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>The President of APE was confirmed as Belgian <strong>Bernard Van Nuffel, President of VIVAQUA<\/strong>, the water service operator of Brussels. The second Vice-President elected by the Assembly held in Athens is <strong>Frenchman Dan Lert, Deputy Mayor of Paris <\/strong> and responsible for ecological transition, climate plan, water and energy, as well as <strong>President of Eau de Paris<\/strong>, the first public water company in France.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6686 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mmspa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/6D3A1389-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mmspa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/6D3A1389-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mmspa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/6D3A1389-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.mmspa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/6D3A1389-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.mmspa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/6D3A1389-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.mmspa.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/6D3A1389-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>&#8220;This is a <strong>recognition of the commitment and managerial capacity of the water service in Italy and of the excellence of Milan<\/strong>,&#8221; said Francesco Mascolo, &#8220;and thanks to this role we will be able to compare ourselves with the main institutions and major European players to improve the management of public water. In this sense, I am eager to provide my contribution to the noble mission and values of APE.
