Disclosure pursuant to Art. 13 Reg. EU 2016/679 (European Data Protection Regulation).
This information concerns the processing of personal data of users who interact with the web services of MM Spa, which can be accessed electronically at the address www.mmspa.eu corresponding to the home page of the company’s official website. The above information is provided only for the website of MM Spa and not also for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links.
Purposes of personal data processing and privacy protection
With reference to the processing of data of users who consult the site or who request services accessible electronically from the address www.mmspa.eu, MM Spa, pursuant to Art. 13 of Reg. EU 2016/679, informs that:
Personal data: “Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference in particular to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more characteristic features of his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
Browsing data: Computer systems in general, Internet transmission protocols and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This is information that is not collected for identification purposes, or to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
The data may be used to enable the proper operation of the site and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could also be used by the competent authorities to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Data collected: This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
DATA CONTROLLER pursuant to Articles 4 and 24 of Reg. EU 2016/679 is MM SPA with registered office in Milan, via del Vecchio Politecnico 8 in the person of the pro-tempore delegate. The processing of data related to the web services of this site takes place at the aforementioned headquarters of MM SpA and are handled only by technical personnel of the office in charge of processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.

The data of a personal nature provided will be processed in compliance with the conditions of lawfulness ex art. 6 Reg. EU 2016/679 for the following purposes until opposed:
Method of processing: Personal data will be processed with the aid of computerized, electronic or automated tools, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were provided and, in any case, in accordance with the relevant regulations in force. Data will be protected by taking appropriate security measures to prevent loss of data, information, illegal or incorrect use and unauthorized access. The personal data collected are processed by the Data Controller and the appointed MM Spa personnel who need to have knowledge of them in the performance of their activities.
Data of a personal nature provided, will not be transferred abroad.
Processing will be carried out in an automated form, using methods and tools designed to ensure maximum security and confidentiality, by specially appointed individuals. In compliance with the provisions of Art. 5 paragraph 1 lett. e) of Reg. EU 2016/679 the personal data collected will be kept in a form that allows the identification of the data subjects for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which the personal data are processed. For example, personal data collected to enable browsing will be stored in a form that allows the identification of data subjects for the duration of the session (technical cookies).
Optional provision of data: Except as specified for navigation data, the provision of personal data by the user is optional. However, refusal to provide the data may result in the Company’s inability to manage the relationship with the data subject.
Each data subject may exercise the rights provided by Articles 15 et seq. GDPR.
These rights may be exercised by sending a registered letter with return receipt to MM S.p.A. via del Vecchio Politecnico 8 20121 Milan, to the kind attention of the Data Protection Officer or a communication by certified e-mail to privacy@pec.mmspa.eu
In addition, if it is believed that the processing has been carried out in violation of the legislation on the protection of personal data, it is recognized the right to complain to the Guarantor Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, Piazza Venezia, 11 – 00187 Rome.
