The redevelopment project of the Ex Expo 2015 area for Human Technopole represents a work of great strategic value for scientific research in Italy. MM Spa played a fundamental role in the design and works management of this complex intervention, which saw the transformation of Palazzo Italia, the Cardo building, the US6 building and the installation of the Lab Incubators.

The intervention combined the functional and architectural recovery of the pre-existing buildings with the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions. The interior spaces have been completely redesigned to meet the specific needs of research laboratories, with particular attention to flexibility and adaptability to future technological developments.

The use of eco-compatible materials, the adoption of bioclimatic solutions and the installation of high energy efficiency systems have significantly reduced the environmental impact of the intervention. High-speed network infrastructures, laboratories equipped with the latest generation technologies and advanced communication systems guarantee researchers a stimulating and cutting-edge work environment.

The creation of large common and sharing spaces promotes collaboration and interaction between researchers from different disciplines, promoting the exchange of ideas and the birth of new synergies.

Human Technopole represents a center of excellence for scientific research at an international level, with the aim of attracting the best talents from all over the world and contributing to the progress of knowledge in the field of life sciences. MM Spa’s work in the redevelopment of the Ex Expo area has created the ideal conditions for the development of this important reality, which represents a flagship for Italy and a reference point for future scientific research.
